A Massive Wave That Hit a Lighthouse in France

Pinterest

This photo was taken on the northwest coast of France when a huge wave hit the lighthouse. Just imagine being in this lighthouse during a massive storm. By the way, this photo wasn’t edited or photoshopped in any way.

The man in this picture was a lighthouse keeper who was waiting for rescue. While he looks like he is calmly watching the storm, he was actually terrified for his life. Fortunately, he survived and didn’t suffer any injuries.

A Night to Remember

Reddit

About 30 years ago, a woman went camping, and all was going well until one night she heard weird noises outside her tent. When she looked out, she saw dozens of raccoons hanging out next to her tent.

They were having a raccoon party and probably thinking of ways to steal the campers’ food. Raccoons are known for their sneaky habit of tearing up gardens and trash cans.

Let’s hope the lady who took this photo had at least some of her food with her in the morning.

A Tornado in the Background

When Audra Thomas from Beaver City, Nebraska, asked to have her picture taken, she wasn’t aware that an F-1 tornado was swirling right behind her.

While it may seem like the tornado is about to carry her away at any second, it was still more than a mile away. Still, the situation was quite serious, and the twister was definitely on its way to destroy her family farm shown in the background.

The National Weather Service warns people about taking photos of tornados. We shouldn’t risk our lives for taking a cool selfie.

Theodore Roosevelt Riding a Moose

Facebook

We have to admit that this photo of President Roosevelt riding a moose in the river is fake. It first appeared on September 8, 1912, and was used in a political campaign when he was running for the Progressive Party’s presidency.

The moose was their mascot, and during the election, the Democratic candidate Woodrow Wilson and the Republican incumbent William Howard Taft were both running against Teddy Roosevelt.
