As a result, she felt she would never be able to walk down the aisle with him. Somehow, they managed to do it.

Their love story was filled with triumphs and tribulations. It didn’t matter what people thought, and they did their own thing. A small, intimate wedding ceremony finally ended their turbulent courtship.

In their minds, they were making the right move.

But from the beginning, they seemed doomed to conflict. Due to Marcus’s infidelity in the past, their marriage had a rocky foundation.

Janet couldn’t forget about the pain and distrust, always scared that history will repeat itself. But she pushed those feelings aside, in hopes that love would conquer all.

Overprotective

Following Marcus’ infidelity, Janet could not help but feel overprotective of him. As a result, she became overly possessive and jealous, preventing him from talking to any girls. Their relationship was shielded from any potential harm by her wall.

Despite knowing about it, Marcus hated it.

The insecurities Janet felt and the fear of losing Marcus fuelled her overprotectiveness. 

Whenever he interacted with other women, even innocent ones, she became jealous and petulant.

Jealousy

The overprotective nature of Janet began to suffocate Marcus as the days passed. This constant anxiety took a toll on their relationship because she couldn’t bear the idea of sharing him with anyone else.

According to her husband, she would never be able to forgive him.
