Born To Be An Athlete

From birth Paige was part of an athletic family. Paige’s father, Dan Spiranac was a football player for the University of Pittsburgh whose team won an NCAA championship in 1976. Her mother, on the other hand, was a professional ballerina.

The family’s athleticism didn’t end there, however. Lexie, Paige’s older sister, attended Stanford University through an athletic scholarship as a member of the track and field team.

Growing up in Monument, Colorado, Paige dreamed of becoming an Olympic athlete. However, with so much pressure from her family, would she manage to achieve her dreams?

Dreams Of Being A Gymnast

Paige dreamed of becoming an olympic gymnast and it is no surprise that coming from such an athletic family, it wasn’t long before she started to excel. Paige was motivated to become just as accomplished an athlete as her parents.

As a result, she trained up to seven hours a day, sex days a week.

Paige excelled at floor and vault routines. She managed to move from level six to Elites, which is akin to moving straight from high school to becoming a professional athlete.

Then, when she was invited to the Karoli camp, it became clear that she was on the track to making her dreams come true.
