Weird SoundCloud Mashups That Must’ve Been Made While Drunk

SoundCloud, to those who don't know, is a site/application where people can upload basically any audio for free. Sometimes, you'll get access to Lorde's first EP well before she got any US airplay, or Drake personally "leaking" his own album early to drum up interest.

And then you get the weirdos. Musicians and nerds who make the strangest mashups you can find. These guys comprise the "Weird SoundCloud" or "SoundClown" part of the Internet. They take two songs that have no business being mashed up and they do it anyway.

The results are insane. Have fun with these suckers.

Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" / Los del Rio's "Macarena"

This is pretty much the creator making a helluva point about "Thrift Shop" — it's as played out as a song that you could not think about for ten years and still be tired of it.

Baauer's "Harlem Shake" / Psy's "Gangnam Style"

Meme meets meme. It's honestly surprising that this mashup didn't take off even bigger.

Smash Mouth's "All Star" / Modest Mouse's "Float On"

Wait, what? Is the theme here: "Two songs pizza parlors inexplicably have on their playlists?" Because that's pretty much all I can think of.

NIN's "Head Like A Hole" / Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe"

…there are no words. None. Just… I don't know. I'm getting a beer.

Disturbed's "Down With The Sickness" / Miley Cyrus' "Party In The U.S.A."

Okay, now I'm glad I got that beer. Why. Why.
