When They Notice New Teacher’s Dress The Story Goes Viral

Dress for an occasion

William Allen Middle School, in Moorestown, New Jersey, had an opening of a new art teacher. Julia Mooney, a 34-year-old art teacher, applied and was accepted by the school.

Right before starting at her new job, Julia wanted to make an excellent first impression, so she ordered a new dress. It was just an ordinary grey dress, but Julia would have never guessed how much controversy the dress would cause.

The day before her first day at her new job, Julia was super nervous, and that’s normal for everyone starting to work somewhere new. In addition to the new job, she also wanted to impress her new students and colleagues.

Like it was made for her

D-day had come, and Julia got up dressed her little kids for school, made them breakfast, and started getting ready for work. When she put on her new dress, it fit perfectly on her, and she was happy that she spend 50 dollars on her new dress.

She felt a little nervous, but as time went by, and she nearly met every student from the 6th and 7th grade and started teaching, she felt more and more comfortable. Everything was going smoothly until it started getting really hot in the classroom.

Hotter and hotter

As time went by, Julia realized that one thing she could do was slowly walk towards and stand below the air conditioning unit. Still, even after she did that, she didn’t feel much cooler.

Julia started feeling drops of sweat going down her back, and she couldn’t get her mind off the fact that she was sweating so much.

She even started cooling herself with a book, and when that didn’t help, she said to herself that she just must focus on the task at hand, and that was teaching.

Not much longer

Hours went by, and the heat was still unbearable, while new students kept coming in the classroom, and classes had to be taken. Before every class started, Julia would stand next to the door and greet every student that came in.

But because she couldn’t get her mind of the rising temperature, she felt like she wasn’t making an excellent first impression. Finally, when she finished her classes, she got her stuff and rushed to her car.

As she was getting in, she felt a bit of relieve, but Julia could feel her dress stuck to her back because she was so sweaty. When she got home, she washed her dress and hung it to dry so it could be ready for tomorrow.

Something odd

When Julia arrived at the school the next day, her students noticed that something was different about their teacher. The boys didn’t quite know what the thing about Julia was, but all the girls knew right away.

Girls at the age of 13, really care about what they wear and are really knowledgeable about fashion. So when Julia came into the classroom, they immediately noticed what she was wearing.
