Wife Passes Away Then Gut Tells Him To Check Her Blog

A sorrow-filled sigh left his lips as he walked into the empty house. He was broken. It was hard to believe how much light and happiness his house once used to hold. It was cold and empty now. Tears streamed down his cheeks, his heart sinking further and further into his stomach.

How would he ever manage to carry on like before? They were going to miss out on so much. But then a light flickering in the corner caught his attention.

Matt And Liz

Liz and Matt had been together since high school. After their first kiss, Matt knew that she was his soulmate. During their ten years of bliss, Matt thought that things were perfect.

He had never known what happiness felt like until he met Liz. She told him that she was pregnant and his heart exploded. However, all of that abruptly changed when she told him that there was something wrong.

A High-Risk Pregnancy

Liz started a blog to help her deal with all the trials and tribulations that came with pregnancy. Liz was an active young woman, but the pregnancy was negatively affecting her body.

She struggled with horrible nausea and she even had to be rushed to the hospital. The doctors assessed her and told her that she was experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. When it was finally time for Liz to deliver their baby, everything took a turn for the worst.

The Worst Day

It was supposed to be the best day of their lives but it instantly turned into a horrible nightmare. Matt anxiously drove to the hospital as his wife needed an urgent C-section. He could barely recall what happened between what happened at the house and their trip to the hospital.

He held her hand throughout the whole process, and Matt could not hold back his tears. Instead of celebrating the life he and his wife brought into the world, Matt had to listen to the sound of his wife flatlining.

Bed Rest

Maddie was born prematurely and she only weighed an astonishing 3 lbs. Matt, on the other hand, had no idea the terrible tradeoff he’d have to make.

Maddie needed urgent care so Liz only spent a few seconds with her daughter. She was so excited to hold her and get to know her, but the doctors put her on bed rest. What happened then changed everything.
