Woman Gets Last Laugh After Pilot Mocks Her For Sensing Storm
As the plane shook violently again, the ridiculing smirk she had was wiped off her face. “See I told you,” Joanna said fearfully.
The stewardess glanced down the aisle at her colleagues. They all looked as white-faced as her. They regretted not believing the woman. Their mocking laughter turned to silent prayers now.
The Early Years
Moving to California had been a jarring change, even at 27-years-old. Her mother had warned her about the excess and debauchery of Los Angeles and she was careful to stay away from those kinds of activities.
Unlike most others, she hadn’t moved here with stars in her eyes. She never wanted to be “discovered”, only to know what independence felt like. Now, the young woman missed her mother dearly and wished she were closer to her.
She Wass Young
Joanna Johnson had been a naive 21-year-old when she moved out to the West Coast. She never wanted to be that far away but the calling was too great.
Joanna had known she was “different” from a young age. To most people, her free-spirited love of folk music and spending time in nature made them mistake her for a hippie. However, Joanna was actually something far beyond what the ordinary world understood.
Energy
Joanna’s mother had recognized her gift early on. In fact, one of her first birthday gifts as a child was a crystal ball. Most people thought of such things as chicanery and mistook spiritualism for “psychic powers”.
In reality, Joanna and her mother understood that what they did was simply train themselves to sense and interpret the vibrational energy signatures that were all around us. Unfortunately, those vibrations could represent wonderful things or misfortune and danger.
They Shared A Connection
It was six years since her big move but Joanna still sometimes felt lost without her mother. No matter how amazing or open-minded Los Angeles was at times, it could never fill the void that her mother’s absence left.
The connection between her mother and herself went deeper than a simple familial bond. Their connection, like everything else, was energy. However, Joanna had no idea how significant that connection would end up being.
