This Teacher Lost Her Purse At Fast-Food Restaurant, Doesn’t Expect How They Return It

She took the clipboard, signed her name, and took the box that had just been delivered. It was surprisingly heavy. She slit open the tape around the box, opened it and peered inside. She reached in and found her hand touching something soft. She had not expected anything like that.

Run Of Bad Luck

Lindsey Jones’ story happened on a road trip from her home in Lorena, Texas to Taos, New Mexico. During the ride home, she realized the tragedy that had befallen her. Little did she know that her post about a series of unfortunate events went viral on Facebook.

It would also cause great public scrutiny for a fast-food chain.

Bad Trip

Lindsey and her family had been in New Mexico for a week but she was by no means relaxed. The trip from home to her holiday destination normally took seven hours but for some reason, the trip back home appeared to take twice the time. Lindsey started to feel worried.

Her children were starting to become restless and she knew she still had to prepare her lesson plan for Monday morning. She was starting to get very annoyed.

On The Road Again

Three hours into the trip, Lindsey was dealing with every parent’s plight on a road trip. The kids were starting to get out of hand and she found herself constantly shouting “Stop hitting your brother!” and “But you just went to the bathroom!” She tried to focus on the road and tune out the noise from the seat behind her.

The sound of the tires on the road offered little distraction.

A Welcome Respite

As frustrating as her children’s behavior may be, it was completely understandable. They had been strapped into their seats for hours, unable to go anywhere. Her youngest child started to cry and kick the back of her seat but fortunately, it was at that moment that she saw a beautiful sight.

In the distance up ahead, she saw the welcome sight of a neon sign for a restaurant.
