She Needed A Change

Carol Smith takes a sip of her coffee as she watches the city of London from her skyline office. A resident of London her entire life, busy streets, and crowded places are all she ever knew. But Carol wasn’t happy.

For some strange reason, there was a feeling of uncertainty tugging at her from inside. She needed a fresh start. Every day was the same. But little did she know her life was about to get turned upside down.

Six-Year Relationship

Carol had been with her boyfriend for six years and they were pretty serious. They had always discussed marriage and kids but the idea of parenthood didn’t really appeal to Carol.

Coming Home From Work

It was a dark winter evening and Carol arrives home from work. As she throws her briefcase on the dining table, she calls out for her boyfriend but there’s no reply. And that’s when she notices two wine glasses on the table.
