Woman Who Texted Her Dad Every Day Since His Passing Gets A Surprise Reply

After losing her father four years ago, an Arkansas woman kept texting his phone number every day to keep him updated about her life. She never expected to get any kind of reply, however, that’s exactly what happened one day.

Chastity Patterson is a 23-year-old woman from Arkansas. After losing a father figure four years ago, she kept texting his number every day.

On the day before the fourth anniversary of his death, she sent another daily update .“Hey Dad it’s ME,” she said.

“Tomorrow is going to be a tough day again!”

In the text message, Chastity recapped all the major ups and downs of the past four years without him.

She talked about her battle with cancer, finishing college and about heartbreak stating that “(you would have killed him),” when talking about the guy who broke her heart.

Unexpected

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me the most, but one day we will [sic] our chance to watch that game!” she wrote. What she never expected was to get a response after four years of sending texts.

Brad

What she never knew was that there was someone on the other end of her messages. On this day he decided to respond. “My name is Brad and I lost my daughter in a car wreck August 2014 and your messages have kept me alive,” the response said.
