Many people visit pawn shops hoping to get some quick cash for their items. So, Victor was not surprised when Tommy showed up with a worn-out book. But the contents of the book immediately caught Victor’s eye and he knew he was staring at something of great value.

He warned the youngster he should not possess such a book — but Tommy’s response was unexpected. He simply claimed it had come from a mysterious source.

As Tommy looked at the book he was holding in his hands, he decided that he wanted to keep it. He had been helping his grandma clean out the attic and he had found many special things, but there was something different about this book.

Tommy couldn’t forget about this book and he just knew that there was something special about it. He decided that he needed an expert to take a look at it, so he went to the pawnshop in hopes of finding out more about the book.
