The good news for Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Mekhi Brown? His name was trending on Tiwtter for his aggression during the national championship game. The bad news? The Georgia Bulldogs weren’t the only ones on the receiving end of said aggression, and it didn’t always occur before the whistle.

With his team trailing by 10 in the second half, Brown hit the sideline after doing the same to the helmet of an opposing player with his fist; he was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Once there and chewed out by Nick Saban, he had a second outburst, this one targeting an assistant coach.

Twitter, eyes fixed on every moment of the clash of pigskin titans, had a field day.

Thankfully for Brown and the Crimson Tide, his unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for hitting an opponent didn’t cost them—Georgia would end up punting on the drive.

Still, giving away free 15-yard chunks? Maybe not the best strategy from here on out.
