The Cleveland Cavaliers were expected to get back home around 11:30 am ET on Monday, after making a pit stop in Las Vegas, of course, for some late-night celebrating.

But what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, and often delays any return trip home (that’s how it goes, right?).

The NBA champs arrived at the airport a couple of hours late, but it was certainly worth the wait for the fans that likely camped out all night to greet the most successful Cleveland team in over five decades.

This is what the scene looked like before the team even arrived

Eventually, the Cavs landed, likely still very drunk.

LeBron James was last to exit the plane.

Not surprisingly, the crowd went nuts and LeBron screamed like a mad man while wearing his "Ultimate Warrior" shirt.

(I wonder why he chose to wear that?)

The curse is finally over, Cleveland.

In other news, J.R. Smith still hasn’t found his shirt, which was lost somewhere in Vegas.

Smith earned the right to let loose after the beautiful moment with his father during his postgame press conference.

In fact, the entire Cleveland team has earned the right to celebrate after an incredible 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors that nobody saw coming. Expect the city to be rolling when the long-awaited victory parade arrives on Wednesday.
