Boston Celtics legend and color commentator Tommy Heinsohn has earned his homer credentials.
The guy has been a part of all 17 Celtics championships, whether as a player, a coach, or a broadcaster. So you’ll have to forgive him when he says stuff like this.
During a preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night, we learned the Hall of Famer may have taken his love for the only franchise he’s been a part of for six decades just a hair too far.
Heinsohn confessed to sneaking a peek at Aron Baynes while the newly signed center was in the shower, and inspecting the Australian’s down under.
“I took a look at Baynes in the shower and he looks like all of Australia,” Heinsohn said, though I’m not really sure what that’s supposed to mean. “He is really … put together.”
It’s way grosser when you can see his face while he says it.
Via our Courtside Cam, Tommy Heinsohn is very impressed with @aronbaynes.

The 30-year-old Baynes appears primed to be a regular starter for the Celtics, a first for the veteran center.
Hopefully his wide, arid, shark-infested, and kangaroo-covered body can provide the perfect complement to Al Horford’s skilled, marsupial-less game in the frontcourt.
