Whether or not Cheick Traore, a 6’8″ high school sophomore basketball player for Concord First Assembly in Charlotte, North Carolina, has a mature game on the hardwood, he at least looks the part.
In his second year of high school, Traore’s already garnering attention from Stephen Curry’s alma mater, Davidson College.

He looks much older than he actually is. It’s a trait one would expect a lot of in a sport that favors those who mature more and faster than others.

But the kid from the Ivory Coast appears mostly to be the victim of a single photo that aged so much you’d expect a butterscotch if you bumped into him on the street.
