People tune into NFL press conferences in order to gain insight into the minds of players and coaches. They want to see how the game impacted them and what they plan to do next. Sometimes though, you find a little bit of gold in a press conference, like this Indianapolis Colts presser where we found out Chuck Pagano has no idea what the movie “Groundhog Day” is.

That’s right, a reporter asked Pagano a question about his team’s recent failures that seem to be repeating themselves over and over and over. The reporter gives a mention of the movie “Groundhog Day.” You know, the one with Bill Murray where he keeps repeating the same day over and over, and Pagano seems to have no idea what the reporter is talking about.

It goes off the rails immediately and Pagano just further makes a fool of himself as the questioning goes on.

How strange did that get? Just a ton of metaphors that seemingly do not relate to football at all. Maybe Chuck Pagano needs to be put through the NFL’s concussion protocol, because this press conference made very little sense.
