Deshaun Watson followed up his tantalizing performance from a week ago with a historic one against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

The rookie Houston Texans quarterback threw for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth while leading his squad to an epic 57-14 beatdown of the Tennessee Titans.

That makes him the sixth rookie quarterback in history to account for five touchdowns, joining Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton, Jameis Winston, Matthew Stafford, Charlie Woodley, and Johnny Green.

He completed 25 of 34 passes for 283 yards, adding another 24 with his feet.

Last week, Watson threw for 301 yards and rushed for 41 more as his Texans put a scare into the New England Patriots, who needed a Tom Brady touchdown with 23 seconds left to win 36-33.

The Texans are 2-2 and 2-1 with Watson as the starter. The team has been blessed with one of the league’s better defenses for years, but hasn’t been able to find a signal caller capable enough of getting the ball to talented play makers like DeAndre Hopkins and Lamar Miller.

In Watson, they’ve already got that and more.
