Did Chris Paul Try to Kick Joe Ingles in the Face?

The Los Angeles Clippers may have been eliminated by the Utah Jazz in Game 1 of the teams' playoffs-opening series, but Chris Paul is still deadlocked in a competition with Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green—to be the most hated player in the NBA.

While Green emphatically threw his hat into the ring in last year's postseason through a series of flying face/nut kicks, Paul has been whining, flopping, and playing dirty for 12 seasons now.

And last night, in his squad's Game 7 loss, Paul appeared to rip a page out of Dray's book, swinging his foot for a very hard kicking motion right by the face of Jazz wing Joe Ingles after the professional irker stripped the All-Star point guard.

The play was not reviewed and Paul was not punished for the air kick.

One can make the argument that Paul was signaling for a kick ball, but his decision to do it mere inches from the body of the man that just stripped him is a curious one. Plus, it's hard to give anyone who pulls sh*t like this the benefit of the doubt.

Paul shot 6-of-19 for 13 points and nine assists in the 104-91 loss.
