Thursday’s MMA matchup between Jorge Filho and Cemey dos Santos lasted only 20 seconds, but what a 20 seconds it was, featuring a TKO and an additional two knockdowns, one per fighter at the exact same time—Filho and dos Santos fell together in a rare double knockdown.
The TKO came mere moments later at the FLC 6 bout in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when Filho got to his feet first and landed one crushing punch to the head before the fight was called.

The scene was reminiscent of June’s Bellator 180 fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Matt Mitrione, when the latter recovered first from a double knockdown for the victory.

If Filho’s name sounds familiar, you’ve been a fight fan since 2015 at the latest, when the tae kwon do black belt scored arguably the knockout of the year with this walk-off spinning back kick to the dome of Claudio Cesario.
