Assuming the Chicago Bulls are able to clear up enough cap space, Dwyane Wade will become the newest member in Chi-town.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, Wade has informed the Bulls organization he intends to sign with them.

What a change of events in an already incredible offseason.

Chicago will have to make a few trades, but they have a plan in place to make room for Wade.

D-Wade’s contract will pay him $47.5 million over two years. The Nuggets offered him a $52 million deal on Wednesday.

After signing Rajon Rondo and trading Derrick Rose, the Bulls have a new look.

Suddenly, Chicago looks to be a competitive team in the East, possibly a contender. But a lot has to go right for this team to go deep in the playoffs. Jimmy Butler has to step up as a leader, D-Wade has to fit in and Rondo can’t have too many "episodes" with his head coach.

It’s a challenging situation for Fred Hoiberg, who underperformed in his first year coaching the Bulls. Now he’ll have a legitimate chance to prove himself

As for the Heat, there are plenty of assets already in place to keep the team on an upward trend. But losing a franchise player like Wade is a huge blow to the fans that already saw LeBron leave and likely aren’t keen on buying Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow jerseys just yet.
