Once again, the Dallas Cowboys and their fans got burned thanks to some late-game Aaron Rodgers magic.

But, indirectly, Rodgers burned one of his own.

Cowboys fan Brianna Hook and Green Bay Packers fan Timothy Salyers enjoyed Sunday’s game together, and to make things interesting, placed a wager on the contest: winner gets to burn the losers jersey.

Both, it turns out, were losers.

After Rodgers connected with Davante Adams for the game-winning score to make it 35-31 with 11 seconds left, the pair went outside to do the deed.

That’s when Salyers proved to be a flaming idiot.

“He then grabbed the jersey with his right arm and attempted to put it on while it was on fire,” said a witness, according to

Hook had to take Salyers to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with second-degree burns on his back and third-degree burns on his right arm and hand.

“He was set on fire after losing a bet on the Cowboys game,” a witness told Sebastian Daily. “… Skin was hanging off his arm and back.”

More from the same publication: “[Salyers] told deputies that he was drunk and tried to put the jersey on while it was burning.”

You don’t say.
