J.J. Watt has never shied away from showing his funny side.

On Thursday, the Houston Texans defensive end aimed his comedic chops at a big, easy, talkative target: LaVar Ball, father of Lonzo Ball, and their apparel company, Big Baller Brand.

In promoting his new Reebok training sneakers, the JJ IIs, Watt subtweeted the Balls and their ludicrously priced $495 basketball shoes.

He then made light of the fact that Lonzo wasn’t even wearing his signature ZO2s during his historically great performance in summer league play; he wore Kobe Bryant Nikes instead.

In addition to crunching quarterbacks and ball carriers, the three-time AP Defensive Player of the Year loves delivering solid impersonations of Chris Farley and Will Ferrell. He also gives one hell of a best man speech.

Unlike Andy Dalton, I’m sure Lonzo and LaVar can take the ribbing from J.J.—especially when it means yet more free press.
