Aaron Judge appeared to have another home run victim in the Boston Red Sox’s David Price, but the New York Yankees’ breakout slugger made one mistake—hitting the ball to center fielder Jackie Bradley Jr.’s territory.
“I hit it to the wrong part of the park and the wrong center fielder,” Judge said after Sunday night’s tilt between the rival AL East squads.
With his team down 3-0 in the eighth inning, Judge connected on what would have been a two-run dinger had it not been for an insane catch by Bradley, who reached over the center field fence to bring the victimized ball back.

“It’s one of those balls you just try to time up,” Bradley said of the difficult grab. “It was in the air. Those are the type of plays, they rarely happen. A lot of different things got to go the right way. Gotta be just far enough over the wall, but short enough where you can grab it. And you’ve got to be able to get back there in time.”
After a consoling tweet from another of Bradley’s recent victims, Oakland Athletics infielder Ryon Healy, Judge tweeted a tip of the cap to the Boston star’s catch.
