If you've played for the rebuilding Philadelphia 76ers in the past five years, you know no one is safe from being used as trade bait.

But according to Bucks County Courier Times reporter Tom Moore, center Jahlil Okafor didn't take kindly to his inclusion in swap discussions.

The report indicates that general manager Bryan Colangelo "tried like hell to trade Okafor," who finished fifth in Rookie of the Year voting after being drafted No. 3 overall in 2015, and that the center is "upset and his people are upset," according to a source.

Okafor was quick to refute Moore's report on Twitter.

And it looks like he has a point.

Moore is the same writer who, last Thursday, reported that 76ers Croatian draft-and-stash prospect Dario Saric wouldn't be coming to the NBA this year because he doesn't want to play behind No. 1 overall pick Ben Simmons.

Three days after that, Saric told a FIBA reporter that he'd be joining the team for the 2016-17.

In other words, next time Tom Moore reports something for the Courier Times, just assume the opposite is true.
