Jalen Ramsey says he didn’t get personal to send the normally stoic A.J. Green into a choke-slamming, helmet-punching tirade.

So long as “not personal” includes telling the Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers that his career is about to be over because he’s weak both mentally and physically.

“I lock receivers down physically and then mentally I get in their mind and get under their skin. I talk my talk whatever I’m going to say. It’s rumors out there that I said some deep, some personal stuff,” the Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback told reporters on Wednesday. “I’m going to let y’all know that’s not true. I get out, I do my thing, I talk sh*t, but I don’t go personal. I don’t talk about nobody’s wife, nobody’s kids, nobody’s family. I don’t do that.

“I told him almost every play that he was weak, that he was soft. Them are straight facts. He just can’t handle the truth. It’s facts. I told him his time was almost up. I told him that [covering him] was easy, which it was. He had one catch for six yards. I was just out there spitting facts to him. He got mad. And then people are trying to talk about the push, I mean I pushed him every single play. You can go back and look at the film, I pushed him every single play. I told him to stop putting his hand on me. He just put his hands on me … I pushed him again. He just fell because he’s weak. He’s small. Some people are mentally strong. He wasn’t during the game. He wasn’t mentally strong. I told to a few of his teammates afterwards, a couple guys I know, and they told me, they was like, ‘Once A.J. started talking back, you had him. He don’t ever talk.’ I was like, yeah, that’s what I do every week.”

Neither player will be suspended for their altercation during the Jags’ 23-7 victory over the Bengals. Ramsey claims an official didn’t know why he was being ejected from the Week 9 game, as he hadn’t thrown any punches.

“I went up to one of the refs and asked him straight up, `Why am I getting ejected?” Ramsey said. “He was like, `To be honest, Jalen, I don’t know.’ That’s exactly what he said, quote for quote.”

And he wasn’t done trashing Green.

“If [Green] was really about it then he would’ve tried to square up with me, you know what I’m saying? But he walked behind me and did that little sh*t,” Ramsey said.
