Joel Embiid spent Saturday enjoying the Philadelphia Eagles’ punching their ticket to the NFC Championship Game like your run-of-the-mill Philadelphia fan: tailgating outside Lincoln Financial Field and taking things just a little too far for the rest of the country’s liking. Except for you, Buffalo, don’t think we forgot about you.

In the video below, acquired by TMZ, it appears the Philadelphia 76ers center is engaging in a game of jackpot—in which players compete for points by catching a ball thrown into a crowd—in the parking lot.

In an attempt to level the playing field against the real-life giant, an Eagles fan gave Embiid some forearm.

The dude’s plan worked. But he’d soon come to regret it. Embiid, wary of a potential injury that might knock him out for another season or three, didn’t take kindly to the shove, slamming the fellow into the pavement.

The incident didn’t impede the Philly center’s enjoyment of the Eagles’ 15-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, who probably wish they’d had that Eagles fan in Julio Jones’ place on the final play.

Eagles fans: Next time Embiid wants to play jackpot, just let him win. It’s not worth making a you-shaped crater in the asphalt.
