Josh Gordon admits he was intoxicated for just about every single game he’s played in the NFL.

This revelation, which came out in an interview with Clay Skipper of GQ, comes as a surprise for many NFL fans, but shouldn’t, considering Gordon has been suspended several times for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

“I definitely pushed the limit,” Gordon told Skipper. “I don’t know how I did it. It could be before games, it could be before practice, after practice.” Gordon finally has come to terms with the fact that he is an addict, and that it has affected his playing career.

Gordon admitted to using drugs and alcohol “before every game.” That seems absurd, and it was a hard life to try to conceal.

“I’d leave the hotel early morning, go home, eat breakfast, do my little ritual, whatever it may be, some weed, some alcohol, and then go to the game. And then, I’d definitely be partying after every game, win or lose. Every game.”

Insanely enough, Josh Gordon still produced on the field despite having some type of substance in his system during every contest. The wide receiver is eyeing a Week 13 return to the field.
