Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson was the lone bright spot in the team’s Game 4 loss on Tuesday. Thompson dropped 19 points in the third quarter alone and nearly brought his team back from a 20-point deficit.

Of course, we all know what happened after that.
Kevin Durant hit a few daggers and OKC quickly ran up the lead again—too much to overcome for the defending champs.
Despite his hot quarter, Thompson only scored seven points in the other three periods, as the disappointment could be seen on his face during his postgame press conference.
When talking to reporters, there was a brief moment Thompson felt encouraged after misreading the stat sheet. But it only took a second for him to realize he was wrong.
“Well, we had 40 assists so that's a positive. Wait, is that right? No, 15 assists. Sheesh. Way off.”
Reading is hard, especially after a tough loss.
