OK, We’re Calling It, THIS Is The Worst Flop Of The 2018 World Cup

Pepe made a nice bid.

And so did Neymar.

But Kylian Mbappe’s dive against Uruguay is now the absolute worst flop of the 2018 World Cup.

Even worse than Mbappe’s “NCIS” levels of crap acting: The resulting scrum concluded with a yellow card for Uruguay’s Cristian Rodríguez.

Mbappe got one too.

The Uruguayans had reason to be frustrated. They’d fallen down 2-0 just minutes earlier, when goalkeeper Fernando Muslera let an Antoine Griezmann screamer go through his hands.

The goalkeeping of Muslera’s counterpart also played a huge role in the result.

Late in the first half, Hugo Lloris came up with a stunning reaction save on a Martin Caceres header.

France won the match 2-0. But they improbably came up with the most disgraceful moment of a match against the permanently teething Luis Suarez.
