In February of 2014, Stan Kroenke, owner of the then-St. Louis Rams, purchased 60 acres of land in Inglewood, California.
But last week, the billionaire that had the audacity to insult a city while he took its team from them, announced another purchase last week that he hopes will also see dividends in the future.
W.T. Waggoner ranch in Texas has existed since before Texas was even a state, and it's the largest single-fence ranch within its borders.
Checking in at over 800 square miles, the plot is bigger than the city of Los Angeles and New York City combined.
Here's a cool graphic to see just how big the ranch is compared to other cities (and a state, and Puerto Rico, oh, and a few countries).
All of that is to say, there's a reason Kroenke was able to uproot a football team that had called St. Louis home since 1995. Unfortunately, for the 99.99999 percent of us that aren't billionaires, with enough money you're allowed to do pretty much anything you want.
