Nick Foles won more than the Super Bowl and the game’s MVP trophy last week. He won ownership of the New England Patriots.
Well … he did so briefly, according to Google.

It lasted for a few hours before Google would remedy the error. They then blamed the issue on a change on Wikipedia
“This was caused by a change on Wikipedia that was briefly reflected in our results,” a Google spokesperson said in a statement. “It’s been fixed on Wikipedia, and we have fixed it on our end as well.”
Using Wikipedia edits to poke fun at sports figures, teams, and fan bases is nothing new.
