The basketball-playing community got smaller by one this weekend, when one guy got got so badly by a police officer in full uniform—heavy-ass gear belt and everything—that he’s gotta hang up his sneakers for life.
It’s the rules.
Playing one-on-one indoors, the cop flashed a little bit of handle before popping the ball over his defender from behind the officer’s back and kept pretending to dribble.
By the time the defender realized the ball was missing, Officer Handles had skipped past him and opted for a grade-school layup.
Our man was so ashamed, he sprinted his ass out of the gym. Thankfully, an intrepid cameraman wasn’t about to let him get away that easily.

The roasting only continued on social media all weekend.

We’ve seen this move before—James Harden pulled it on some mind-blown kid at his basketball camp almost two years ago.
