After his New England Patriots’ Super Bowl loss, Rob Gronkowski warned that he was considering retirement.

But if he’s already come to a decision, he’s certainly enjoying torturing Patriots fans.

On Wednesday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport temporarily became New England’s favorite reporter by announcing that the team’s oft-injured star tight end was expected to return to the gridiron in 2018.

Shortly after, Gronk posted a one-emoji, one-word tweet: “clueless.”

Fresh off remembering what defeat tastes like, Patriots fans did not take the cryptic tweet well.

Unless he comes out and clears things up, there’s no way to know if Gronk’s tweet refers to Rapoport’s report or something wholly unrelated.

Tweeting “clueless” could just be describing his default setting, or, as his Super Bowl opponent Chris Long suggested, giving a shoutout to the 1995 cinematic classic of the same name.
