Six minutes into the 2017-18 NBA season, the NBA world was anything but excited. In the first quarter of the season opener between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics, new Celtics forward Gordon Hayward suffered an ankle injury so gruesome, his emotional teammates had to huddle in support of one another.

If you’re not cool with seeing body parts go in directions they’re not supposed to go, do not watch this video.

The reaction of the Cavs bench says it all.

Players and fans of all teams tweeted their support as and after Hayward was carried off the floor on a stretcher, including Paul George, who knows something about world-stopping leg injuries.

But not Skip Bayless. Predictably, he saw this as an opportunity to take a shot at the man he’s made a career out of obsessing over: LeBron James.

Players, fans, and reporters then took turns rightly trashing the FS1 sports yeller.

While Bayless was out there showing zero class, LeBron was doing the exact opposite.
