Steve Smith Holds Back a Mountain of Rage After Kid Shouts ‘Go Patriots’ to His Face

Children are practically immune to real-life consequences. A child can speak his or her mind to the most intimidating people in the world, and, worst case scenario, mom gets upset and hands down a “timeout” punishment.

That’s likely why one kid, lacking a tremendous amount of self-awareness, decided to troll Baltimore Ravens receiver Steve Smith at a football camp for military children on Wednesday.

The youngster shouted “Go Patriots!” right in his face and for a brief moment, Smith had that “I’m gonna wreck this little sh*t” thought we’ve all repressed at one point or another in our lives.

Just walk away, Steve.

He played it cool on Twitter later.

As a Pats fan, I found this thoroughly enjoyable. But I also understand the toxicity of sh*t talkin’ children who feel invincible. This definitely wasn’t the first time this kid mocked a grown person, and it certainly won’t be the last.

Luckily, the more children grow, the less they can get away with. That little Pats fan will be humbled some day. It might take him getting punched in the face when he’s 22 years old, but he’ll eventually be humbled.

It’s the circle of life.
