Quarterback T.J. Yates is only on the Houston Texans roster because Ryan Mallett missed a team flight in late October. But when starter Brian Hoyer exited the game to undergo concussion tests, Yates stepped up with the help of one of the most underrated receivers in football.
In a grind-it-out Monday Night Football game, Yates found DeAndre Hopkins on the far side of the end zone on his first drive. Somehow Hopkins managed to trap the ball with his left arm to make an incredible one-handed touchdown catch.
Hopkins and his teammates were fired up after taking the lead on the undefeated Bengals.

Hopkins' catch turned out to be the game-winning touchdown, as the Texans went on to win 10-6. Hard Knocks is way more meaningful now.
