It looks like the future of the NBA is in hands blessed with familiar genes: the genes of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.
This weekend, Overtime shared a video of Wade’s 15-year-old son Zaire throwing down a nasty dunk—bouncing an alley-oop to himself at Quicken Loans Arena while decked out in Cleveland Cavaliers gear.

A day earlier, he uncorked this two-handed reverse.

It’s unclear if the hoops in these videos are standing at the regulation height of 10 feet. If Zaire is indeed his listed 6’2″, then that dunk at the Q looks legit. However the second rim is suspiciously low.
Almost two years ago, Zaire grabbed attention when he texted his dad some sage hoops advice.
“Last night vs. the Bulls was I (think) your best game of the season. When you are attacking the rim that causes (the) defense to suck in and opens up and ones for you, wide open treys for your teammates or etc…” Zaire wrote to his All-Star father. “All I’m saying is stay on attack mode big dog. When you attack they will play you with a lil extra room so that’s when u use that killa instinct and shoot your midrange. And stop being so hard on yourself, most important play for a passion. It seems your playing like someone is making you. Now go out there and play like it’s your last game of the season and give it all and trust your teammates.”
A guard in the class of 2020, Zaire has already made an unofficial recruiting visit to Michigan State.
