Edie Britt rubbed a lot of characters the wrong way. Unfortunately, rumors claimed that Sheridan, who played Eddie, was just as nasty off-screen. But she was fired in 2009 after complaining that the show’s producer Marc Cherry allegedly hit her in the head. Sheridan then attempted to sue Cherry but lost in court.
