“Love Hurts” by Nazareth released in 1974 was a one-hit-wonder as well, with the Lead Singer by Dan McCafferty singing his heart out. The song instantly became a worldwide anthem for breakups and heartaches and was one of the most memorable and successful songs of both its time and its kind. All of the band members were Scottish, but their hit topped charts in the U.S. which lead to global domination, as well as in Norway and the Netherlands.
