“The Hustle” by Van McCoy is one of the biggest and most famous dance songs from the ’70s, and the song took the world by storm when it first released in 1975, topping out anyone’s expectations about what Van McCoy could do. He, unfortunately, passed away at a young age of only 39, however, his legacy will stay with us forever, especially given the fact that he topped out on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts in the Hot Soul Singles section.
