Cheryl Tiegs is a true American supermodel in every sense of the word. She became extremely popular due to her multiple appearances on covers of Time and for the 1978 Pink Bikini poster, which became one of the most iconic images of 1970s pop culture. She was also one of the first models, at least at the time, to appear twice on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. She is regarded as one of the most famous supermodels in American history.
