“Would you like me to check the ticket for you now madam?” asked the acne-ridden clerk. “You know what my good man? I would!” thrilled Laura. The clerk fumbled awkwardly with the lottery machine and then his eyes widened.
“That can’t be right… Surely..” he mumbled to himself. Laura picked up on his body language and instantly her heart started beating a mile a minute. “What is it sir?” asked Laura. What the clerk said next would change her life forever.
