Conquest Of Space
Conquest Of Space boasts a number of special effects sequences that, while undeniably cheesy, are full of pomp, color, and imagination. It’s not hard to watch the film and see some inspiration for both 2001: A Space Odyssey and Guardians Of The Galaxy. Regrettably, the film upon release was a box-office flop that “hindered George Pal’s career as a producer.”
