Christopher Columbus Was Smart
People like to forget that Christopher Columbus wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed. The Greeks had already determined the diameter of the earth, but Columbus thought it was smaller. He went on his journey with less supplies than he should’ve because he refused to believe the Greeks. Had there not been a continent along his path, he and his crew would’ve certainly died.
