Everyone Married Young
People today think that everyone in olden times married young…like at 13… and started popping kids out because they were going to die at 30. The age that people got married during the Renaissance varied widely. Sure, young marriages happened (especially to solidify unions between countries), but it certainly wasn’t the child-bride situation that most people make it out to be.
