William Wallace Was A Hero
I’m a Scot, with a degree in history, so it annoys me when people show any kind of respect for William Wallace. The man was not a hero. He was a criminal, to put it nicely. He never led an army, but a rag-tag group of thieves. And while he did win at Bannockburn, it was more due to the English’s stupidity than any strategy he might’ve had. He really only cared about himself.
