What The Civil War Was Really About
What annoys me is that people think the Civil War wasn’t about slavery- that it was actually about states’ rights. But the states’ rights to do what? All the ownership of slavery, of course. Nearly every document related to the Confederate States has mention of it and so does the Constitution. Don’t let anyone fool you.
