Rome Wasn’t Colorful
In pictures of Ancient Rome, it always looks as though everything is marble white. The pictures should show it as a colorful place. Even the marble statues would’ve had color. The paint wore off with time, which is why they look white. But they were almost clown-like, that’s how much color they had.
