The World Was Segregated
People like to think that every ancient civilization was super segregated. It wasn’t. There were black and brown people strolling around Ancient Greece and Rome, just as there were Europeans living in Egypt. People mixed quite a bit in ancient times. It was only recently, as far as history goes, that segregation really started.
