Ares
The name “Perry” sounds phonetically similar to “Ares,” the Greek god of war, and the two definitely share some similar qualities. They’re both quick to anger, physically violent, and thrive on the thrill of domination. The Roman god Mars is Ares’ counterpart, from which we get the term “martial,” as in “martial law” or “martial arts.” The first season fittingly concludes when the five central women overthrow their oppressor, returning balance and order to their world, a well-deserved moment of peace.
